Alutius Oberholzer founded ECB Leisure group of companies in the early 1990’s. Through hard work and dedication the company rapidly expanded and soon reached a staff component of 450 employees.

There is a demand for elite, unique holiday and business accommodation within South Africa and it was out of this recognizition that the group of resorts were identified and exclusive standards set and Go Touch Down was born.
The phrase encompasses the full spectrum of resort types with individual properties offering a full range of services tailored to serve the needs of business travelers and resort vacationers.
Dunkeld Country Estate in Dullstroom was finely selected and identified as the location for the first development. This development embodied the spirit of the Go Touch Down brand and has since paved the way for the additional five resorts.
